–The inner and outer Presence of God in all creation and in His deeds. We will be in the image and likeness of God, and even now are to live more and more in a way that glorifies Him.
–Glory of Man is temporary
—Ja 1:9-11 our glory comes from God. Idolatry is worshipping the vessel through whom we see something good – of God – but do not worship God Himself, the source of our glory, our beauty, our wisdom (Ezek 16:14-15 Jerusalem’s beauty and shame)
–Glory of God is eternal
–Beauty, Power, Radiance, Humility
–God is LIGHT, LOVE, HOLY, GOOD, IS
—In Jesus we see God’s attributes in a way that we do not die in God’s brilliance!
Rev 21:23 The New Jerusalem does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
1Jn 3:2-3 He who has this hope purifies himself, even as He is pure.
