Poem by David Wallis, from inside Kingman Prison, Arizona
Words, jokes, laughter have no bounds of sin;
Privacy is “shared” with over fifty-two men
Longings for drugs, sex, booze, and even pork.
I’m happy with water, a coffee cup, and a spork.
Constant disruptions, no A/C, sweating all night;
Patience fills my life with its brother. . . hope – not sight.
Joy, peace, and love can not from me sever,
For with Yeshua I walk from now into forever.
