I love Yeshua. God loved me and gave me hope for a better world when He saved me from “this world” which cannot save itself, or even make itself better, from God’s point of view. Why? Because the devil is the “god of this world”. Against all expectations for a prosperous year in 2020, the Corona virus pandemic changed everything. The Word of God written by James became truth for many people in the world: “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.” (Ja 4:13-16)
Do you have concerns about this new year of 2021? Our God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble!
Do you have problems at home: in your family, finances, with the children, between the husband and wife, as a mother alone? Our God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble!
Do you young people have worries or fears about your studies, your job, your search for the right man or woman with whom to marry? God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble!
Do you have problems in your character that do not honor the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that darken the light that He has made us to be in the world? Do not be afraid to confess this to our Father in Heaven, and to cooperate with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to sanctify you. Our God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble! He is faithful in His love for each of us.
Our Good Shepherd will bring us through. We do all that we can to live for Him, but it is He who promises to bring us through until the end. Jesus tells us not to fear, the Father is pleased to give us the Kingdom. (Lk 12:32) The grace of God which brings salvation has appeared! For those who love the Lord there is no need to fear.
Let us all remember from where we have come when the Good Shepherd found us and brought us home to the Father’s house. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Hallelu-Yah! Amen!
2021 can be a good year for those whose hope is in Yeshua/Jesus. The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
May 2021 be a year that we become more mature and wiser in the things of God. This year has made us more aware of how important that is in these times.
