Ha-MaKoM--formerly known as The Bible House-- is still the only shop in Beer Sheva and the Negev where New Testaments can be openly displayed and given or sold.

Ha Makom  is a word in Hebrew meaning "the place".
Ha-MaKoM
is where believers and others can come and enjoy The Messiah, Coffee, and Music Under the Fig Tree.

Ha-MaKoM is critically important to our work here; it presents the face of the Messianic/Christian community to the public, whether in the household of faith or still outside. Your prayers for clear and common vision and purpose are valued to have the Lord's favor upon such a place distinguished from all other businesses and services in the area.

The Shop provides a convenient place for believers from different congregations to stop in during the day for a cup of good coffee and meeting up with other brothers and sisters, and also provides opportunities to discuss the faith with those who come in to what they know to be a "Christian" place. This gives great freedom to those working there and other believers who happen to be there to speak
openly with them.

The courtyard has provided a setting for various meetings:

  •       Ladies Evenings
  •        Couples Evenings
  •        Lectures on Bible Topics
  •        Music Evenings
